Dr. Ashely Frieswyk
PsyD, CMPC
As a Sport Psychologist, I am passionate and specialize in providing mental health and performance strategies for athletes at a variety of levels. I believe that mental performance and mental health are interconnected. That's why my approach to sport psychology emphasizes both performance enhancement and mental health support to assist the whole athlete. I recognize how difficult it can be to seek guidance and how limited an athlete's time can be, because of that I place an emphasis on flexibility and doing my best to be a "one stop shop."I value having the skills to empower athletes with mental performance training, general mental health, or a little of both.
My goal is to help athletes excel by providing them with the tools and resources needed to overcome barriers. Each interaction is personalized to meet the unique needs of each individual athlete, coach, or team. In collaboration with the athlete, I use evidence-based techniques and strategies to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
